Give Back for Rachel Event!
date: Friday, November 30, 2007
time: 9 am - 8 pm
location: H.J. Benken Florist and Garden Center
6000 Plainfield Rd.
Cincinnati, OH 45213

Our youngest granddaughter Rachel Lyn, was diagnosed in early August of this year with Acute Mylogeneous Leukemia. She is just 16 months old and is currently in Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Following Rachel's diagnosis our family wanted to somehow help others who are affected with cancer of the blood. So we invite you to join us on Friday, November 30th, to 'shop for a cause' to benefit the Cincinnati Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. By doing your holiday shopping on this day you will help the Leukemia Lymphoma Society continue to make a difference in the quality of life of those battling with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Your purchases will help fund lifesaving research, education, and patient services while providing help and hope to thousands, including our Sweet Baby Rachel.

20% of all walk-in sales will be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help find a cure for cancer of the blood.

Become a Donor
When you become a bone marrow donor, you join the global movement of more than 10 million donors who stand ready to give someone a future.

The National Bone Marrow Registry will be here Friday, November 30th from 10am till 2pm.

Come and enjoy this special event and help us make a difference! We'll be serving hot cider, coffee, hot chocolate & homemade breads. After 5:00pm we'll have wine, cheese & light hor/douvres.

The Southern Ohio Chapter is dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has awarded more than $280 million to research specifically targeting blood-related cancers.
