Movie Promotion Extended

The need for platelet donors continues.

We have had a strong response to fill the platelet appointments this week – the schedule for the rest of the week is now full. However, we want to continue the momentum as we approach Christmas. We are going to extend the two movie tickets giveaway through Dec. 12!

If you donate platelets at a Hoxworth neighborhood donor center Dec. 7-12, you will receive a pair of Movie Tickets…just in time to catch a holiday blockbuster.  Please call (513) 451-0910 to schedule an appointment to donate platelets at your earliest convenience.

About Hoxworth:
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, is celebrating over 70 years of saving lives. At least 350 volunteer blood donors and 40 volunteer platelet donors are essential each day to keep up with the demands of tri-state hospitals and their patients. Founded in 1938, we serve 32 hospitals in 17 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Annually, Hoxworth collects on average over 90,000 units of blood from local donors.
