Make your donation a WINNING TOUCHDOWN:
- Bring a friend, family member or co-worker to make a blood donation.
- Maximize your blood donation by making a Double Red Cell donation.
- In addition to your regular donations, give before or after major holidays and during the winter and summer months.
- Donating frequently ensures that we have the blood we need to support our 29 area hospitals. Hoxworth encourages all donors to give every eight weeks for whole blood, sixteen weeks for double red cells and every two weeks for platelets.
- If you have either A or AB blood types, you can boost your donation by giving platelets.
How to Donate:
Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed parental consent) and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.
Please call (513) 451-0910 or (800) 830-1091 to schedule an appointment at a neighborhood donor center. Hoxworth recognizes that your time is valuable.
