Blood Donors Can Win "A Chorus Line" Tickets!

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati encourages you to make a blood donation for a chance to win 2 tickets to “A Chorus Line”. All donors who give blood at any Hoxworth mobile drive or neighborhood donor center beginning Wednesday, May 20th thru Sunday, May 24th will be automatically registered to win a pair of tickets to see “A Chorus Line” at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.
Make your donation an award winning performance:
- Bring a friend, family member or co-worker to make a blood donation.
- Maximize your blood donation by making a Double Red Cell donation.
- In addition to your regular donations, give before or after major holidays and during the winter and summer months.
- Donating frequently ensures that we have the blood we need to support our 32 area hospitals. Hoxworth encourages all donors to give every eight weeks for whole blood, sixteen weeks for double red cells and every two weeks for platelets.
- If you have either A or AB blood types, you can boost your donation by giving platelets.
How to Donate:
Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed parental consent) and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.
