Hoxworth Blood Center Hires Community Relations Manager CINCINNATI (March 7, 2008) – Hoxworth Blood Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Alecia Lipton as Community Relations Manager. Ms. Lipton began her duties at Hoxworth on February 13th, bringing with her nearly 19 years of marketing and public relations experience. Ms. Lipton will be responsible for the public relations, marketing, advertising, cause marketing and media relations for Hoxworth. “We are fortunate to have Alecia on our team as we feel that she will be a valuable asset in keeping Hoxworth in the public eye” said Dr. Ronald Sacher, director of Hoxworth Blood Center. It is vital to keep everyone informed of the need for blood donations and the work of Hoxworth. Ms. Lipton is a graduate of Morehead State University and Miami University. Ms. Lipton resides in Mason, Ohio with her husband Mark and their seven children. “I am very excited to begin my work at Hoxworth”, said Alecia Lipton. I know that each day will end with the gratification of knowing that the Hoxworth team has helped save lives”. Hoxworth operates nine neighborhood donor centers in Anderson, Blue Ash, UC Medical Center, Downtown, Ft. Mitchell, Ft. Thomas, Mason, Tri-County and Western Hills.
