Newport on the Levee to Host Community Blood Drive on May 30
 
       
 
On Friday, May 30 from 7 am to 2 pm, residents of Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati are encouraged to donate blood at the Sixth Annual Newport on the Levee Blood Drive.

FOX19's Pat Barry will broadcast live from 7 to 9 a.m.

Hoxworth’s Bloodmobile will be parked by Brio's near the valet parking circle between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., where donors can park for free until 10:30 a.m. From 10:30 am to 2 pm, there are three 15 minute parking spots available.
 
(15 minute time limit will not be enforced due to length of blood donation which is about an hour)
Donation appointment times are available in 15-minute intervals from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Though appointments are not necessary to give blood, they are encouraged. To schedule an appointment or for more information, contact: Katie Glahn at (513) 558-1562 or email: kathleen.glahn@uc.edu
 

 
In addition to the Newport on The Levee, Hoxworth will have five donor centers open:
 
• Hoxworth Blue Ash – 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Hoxworth UC Medical Center – 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Hoxworth Ft. Mitchell – 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Hoxworth Tri-County – 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Hoxworth Western Hills – 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
