For the second year in a row,
Entertainment Solutions and Hoxworth are partnering
together to help prevent blood shortages during the month of
December. Donate blood or platelets at any Hoxworth blood drive or donor center between December 1-31, 2007 and you will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a 42" Plasma HDTV from Entertainment Solutions. No registration or entry forms are necessary to win. One donor will be picked at random and contacted by Hoxworth after January 1, 2008. (Model #: LG 42PC5D; retail value: $1200)

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating. About Hoxworth: Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati Medical Center needs to collect blood from 350 blood donors and 40 platelet donors each day to keep up with the needs of tri-state patients. Hoxworth, founded in 1938, serves 28 hospitals in 17 counties in Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.
