Donors may park free along the curbside on Mehring Way. If  there are no free street spots available, park in the public parking at the U.S. Bank Arena Garage, or at any other available downtown parking. To park at the U.S. Bank Arena Garage, enter via the East Entrance on Pete Rose Way or on Mehring Way. After 10 a.m., you must have $6 in cash to park in this garage.

The requirements to give blood are:
Age: Be at least 17 years old.
16 year olds may donate with parental consent
Weight: Minimum of 110 pounds.
Identification: Must provide photo I.D.
Food: Eat a good meal within four hours before giving.
Drink: Drink plenty of water or juice before and after donating.

About Hoxworth:
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati was founded in 1938 and proudly serves 31 hospitals in 17 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.  Annually, Hoxworth collects over 90,000 units of blood from local donors to help save the lives of patients in our area hospitals.  At least 350 volunteer blood donors and 40 volunteer platelet donors are essential each day to keep up with the demands of tri-state hospitals and their patients.
