Make your donation a WINNING TOUCHDOWN:
- Bring a friend, family member or co-worker to make a blood donation. - Maximize your blood donation by making a Double Red Cell donation. - In addition to your regular donations, give before or after major holidays and during the winter and summer months. - Donating frequently ensures that we have the blood we need to support our 32 area hospitals. Hoxworth encourages all donors to give every eight weeks for whole blood, sixteen weeks for double red cells and every two weeks for platelets. - If you have either A or AB blood types, you can boost your donation by giving platelets.
